Support Groups

Look Good...Feel Better
One of the most important aspects of treating cancer is the healing process—emotional, psychological and spiritual. Look Good...Feel Better is a step-by-step program to assist cancer patients with appearance and health concerns during treatment. The program provides guidelines for skin care, makeup maintenance, new hair looks and caring for your nails.

The American Cancer Society partners with the hospital by donating new wigs to patients who experience hair loss during treatments. For many patients, following these recommendations helps maintain uplifted spirits. For more information call 773-878-8200, ext. 5437 or visit www.cancer.org.
